Coaching

Coaching Niches:

  • Communication

  • Clarity

  • Confidence

  • We start with a discussion and hopefully, a discovery of client needs. Usually includes administration and interpretation of at least one assessment:

    • MBTI

    • CSF (Clifton Strengths-Finder)

    • KTSII Keirsey Temperament Sorter

    • EQ2.0 - (Emotional Intelligence 2.0 by Talentsmart)

    • DiSC

    • 360

Coaching can focus on either Discovery or Grow themes.

  • Discovery might include focus on self-awareness, discovering interests, preferences, stressors, strengths, or discovering new careers / interests.

  • Grow is usually more about professional development, new job transition, promotion, etc.

Sessions can be virtual (phone, zoom) or face-to-face if geographically do-able

  • One-Time Need
These are one-on-ones with clients. It might be a one-time need for something like prepping for an upcoming interview, presentation, report-writing, or meeting.

    Development & Growth
These one-on-ones might include multiple sessions over a period of weeks or months. For example, transitioning into a new position which requires new manager /leader skills.

Or focusing and practicing on building a competency - perhaps after a 360 or performance review, or getting ready for a new position or promotion.

    Typically 60-90 min. initial session

  • This is for the department or organization that wants to grow some common leadership competencies with a team of leaders.

Group coaching allows everyone to hear the same message and experience similar things.

Group coaching brings multiple people together to discover, discuss and practice. Typically involves establishing common goals, identifying inhibitors, partnering for results, reflecting, asking questions, and role-playing.
